Disability and Inclusion
Our pledge to Inclusivity & Accessibility
At King’s Park Conference Centre, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate fully in events, retreats, and training — regardless of background, ability, or circumstance. Inclusivity is at the heart of our mission, and we strive to offer a warm, welcoming, and accessible environment for all who walk through our doors.
Positive attitude, training and awareness:
Our staff are regularly trained to meet a wide range of accessibility needs, creating a supportive and respectful atmosphere for all guests and delegates.
Affordable access:
We offer competitive rates across our conference and residential packages to help remove barriers to participation and make our facilities as accessible as possible to a wide range of groups.
Financial support and charitable work:
Working alongside our charity NAYC, we are committed to supporting those who might otherwise be unable to attend, actively seeking funding to make our centre more accessible and inclusive.
Venue spaces & accommodation:
Many of our bedrooms and key meeting spaces are located on the ground floor for easy access. Two of our upper accommodation floors are accessible via a lift, and we have a number of accessible bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms. Please note that while most of our venue is accessible, the first floor of our main building (including the Boardroom) does not currently have lift access.
If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance so we can work with you to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience.
