Are your staff DBS checked?

Yes.  All of our staff are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Yes, there is free guest Wi-Fi.

You can request your preferred style, and we will prepare your main conference room to your specifications ready for your arrival. All the conference rooms have ample chair availability, and we can provide tables too. You can tell us your choices on the Guest Information Pack that you is sent for you to complete before your conference.

Each of our three largest conference rooms have built in PA systems for you to plug all your devices into and play right away. If you have complex setups and you’d like to familiarise yourself with our systems, please contact us for a site visit. The breakout rooms have TV units for your smaller sessions.

We have a number of items to lend, including, but not limited to: microphones, DI boxes, HDMI cables, and extension leads (all subject to availability). We encourage our groups to bring any equipment that they may need for their conference to avoid missing out.

All of our conference rooms are on one level, allowing easy access for all. Most of our bedrooms are either on the ground floor or accessed by using a lift. Please make your group leader aware of any accessibility needs that you have so they can avoid allocating you a room that’s only accessible by stairs. Your bedroom will be made up for your arrival and every bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom.  We have 5 rooms available if you require some extra space or a wet-room facility (subject to availability). If the person with additional needs is in the room alone, please allocate a room beside or opposite them to a ‘buddy’ who can respond in the event of an emergency.

Please contact King’s Park Sports for more information regarding sporting activities. As a residential guest at King’s Park Conference Centre, you are entitled to 20% off any booking at Benham Sports Centre and King’s Park Tennis Centre. Both centres are on-site, providing a convenient place to plan your activities. A variety of sports are available to book, including football on our new MUGA Astroturf 5-a-side pitches, indoor or outdoor tennis, basketball, badminton, and much more. King’s Park Conference Centre Groups can reserve free use of the MUGA Unit between 10am and 4pm, or 20% off after 4pm. All subject to availability, please contact King’s Park Sports for more information.

Our experienced catering team are diligent in making sure that any pre-advised allergies are catered for in a safe and controlled kitchen environment.  We are also a nut-free centre, ensuring that all our guests can safely visit us without any extra worry. Please make your group leader aware of any dietary requirements that you have so they can inform our team.

Your residential package will include dinner on the night of arrival, with all meals provided through to lunch on the day of your departure, no matter how many nights you stay with us. Our breakfast is a combination of the classic ‘Full English’ components with cereal and fruit always available too. Lunch consists of a hot meal, salad bar, and dessert, then there is a hearty two-course evening meal. 

All meals are cooked on site by our dedicated team of catering staff. We can cater for various dietary needs such as vegan and vegetarian options as well as medical or religious choices (please enquire about this when booking).

Standard mealtimes are 8:30am for breakfast, 1:00pm for lunch and 6:30pm for dinner (7:00pm on Friday).

You may bring your own snacks or food on-site as long as you adhere to our policies surrounding food and drink. We are an alcohol and nut-free site, and you must label all your food before storing it in our fridges. Please contact us with information regarding the food that you plan to bring so that our Catering Manager can agree it and arrange fridge/freezer space if necessary.

Yes, we can provide communion elements for your group. Please let us know the number of people that will be taking part and when you would like your communion session to be. We will provide you will cranberry juice, sliced bread (gluten free alternative available), communion cups and trays. This is all available for small charge, please contact us for more details.

Yes, our tea and coffee bar is available to guests at all hours, free of charge. Please help yourself to a selection of teas and coffee. Milk and sugar are provided, as well as a selection of milk alternatives and sweeteners to ensure that there is something for all diets and preferences. Coffee and tea facilities are also available in the bedrooms of guests aged 18+.

Yes, King’s Park Treasure Box offers drinks, snacks, gift items, and some toiletry essentials. Payment is taken at reception, both cash and card are accepted.

Our accommodation block consists of 107 en-suite bedrooms, including 2 family rooms (5 beds) and 5 accessible rooms. Each room comes with comfortable twin beds, tea and coffee making facilities as well as plenty of storage space for your stay.

Yes, please send an email to our Guest Services Team (dutymanager@kingspark.org.uk) outlining the risk assessments that you require, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we are only able to welcome registered assistance dogs to King’s Park.

Here at King’s Park, we are very proud of our new Spinney area. The 0.8 acre woodland has a low level playground, trim trail, log cabin, and a fire pit, all of which is enclosed with a security fence and explored with the accessible path.

Sole-use King’s Park Conference Centre Groups can reserve free use of the Spinney with up to 18 months of notice. Any other groups can reserve free use of the Spinney with up to 2 months of notice. All subject to availability, please contact King’s Park Sports for more information.

Just a stones throw away from King’s Park Conference Centre, with public through access right next to us, Bradlaugh Fields, a community wildlife park, provides a plethora of stunning views and scenery, perfect for taking some downtime during your stay with us.
